Though it seems like Pumpkin Spice Lattes are the only new offering everywhere there are other new seasonal drinks. The Coffee Bean Tea Leaf is offering a new Salted Butterscotch flavor for the Fall season. It’s available in both an Iced Blended version and a hot/cold latte. This review will be over the Iced Blended version of the drink.

Just like the name promises, the Salted Butterscotch Iced Blended is indeed very buttery and sweet. The Iced Blended drink is creamy and smooth. And there is just a hint of salt to cut through the sweetness of the drink. However, because they use powders to sweeten the drink, there is an unpleasant acidity when small pockets of the powder aren’t blended in well. This isn’t unique to the Salted Butterscotch Iced Blended and I’ve found it to be a problem with all of their iced drinks. Overall, the drink is very satisfying and I would order it again.
