The Shaken Mango Black Tea Lemonade is a mouthful to say and its Starbucks newest summer offering. The company describes this drink as “Teavana® black tea, mango flavor and a hint of sweet passion fruit shaken with a splash of lemonade to create this all day, every day iced refreshment”.

In reality the drink is surprisingly unsweet compared to other Starbucks offerings. The strong flavor of the black tea comes through and the mango flavor complements it. For me, the mango flavor isn’t actually quite strong enough and the passion fruit taste is almost non-existent. The lemonade finishes off the drink with a sour, refreshing taste.

This drink also comes without the lemonade. Mango black tea refills are available for 50 cents a cup or for free for Starbucks green and gold members. Additionally, you can add some fizz with Starbucks new soda machines for an additional 50 cents.
