Hello lovelies!
I’m finally back from my Walt Disney World vacation and I’ve got a lot of catching up to do. It was a really fun trip but I’m super exhausted now that I’m back. I took lots of pictures and videos and I’m working on sorting through them and documenting my trip. Hopefully I’ll have some Disney World related content up for you soon!
On another note, I managed to gain a whopping 7 pounds on vacation. Apparently Disney calories do count… after the fact. At first, I intended to start another round of Whole 30 to detox myself from all the sugar and Disney magic, but without a support group I found it really difficult. In the end I think I’m going to try to find something more sustainable so that I’m not bouncing from diet to diet. I’m still limiting my sugar and dairy intake and instead trying to eat healthy and count carbs. I’ve since gone back to my exercise routine as well and I’m almost back to my pre-vacation weight. In all probability you’ll see a ton of healthy recipes from me this season.
Fall is officially upon us and I’m excited for Fall crops, especially apples! And Sweet Potato Applesauce Mash sounds like a great way to use a bunch of apples.
I received a butternut squash recently in my Imperfect Box but had no clue how to prepare it. I found this article by Tori Avey really informative and interesting!
I’m a huge fan of frittatas and I love salmon, so I was really glad to find this recipe for a Salmon Frittata over on the Whole Smiths.
Thanks for reading!
I hope you have a wonderful week!
