It’s been a pretty good week so far. I started out my week at Disneyland, it was crowded but oh so worth it. I highly recommend the butterscotch beignets at the Mint Julep! My friends and I wanted to try Cove Bar but the wait was too long, we’ll try again next time.
With Halloween just around the corner, I’ve been in a celebratory mood. I love Fall and all the delicious seasonal foods that come with it. I tried the Frappula Frappuccino the other day and I’m kind of in love with it.
It’s layered like the s’mores frappuccino was. The Frappula starts off with mocha sauce on the bottom, topped with a layer of whipped cream. The sides are then covered in delicious strawberry puree and a white chocolate mocha frappuccino is added to the cup and topped with a generous amount of whipped cream. Honestly, I couldn’t keep a straight face when I ordered the drink the first time. Frappula Frappuccino just sounds ridiculous to say. But I really love the flavor, it tastes like chocolate covered strawberries! I feel like the taste is much lighter than the Franken Frappuccino though I love that one too (see my review here). I also tried this drink with the new almond milk and I feel that it mellows the drink out even more and makes it much more drinkable. Overall, I highly recommend it! But if you want to try it you better move fast because it will only be around until Halloween. I’m sure you could still order it after, but be prepared to have some baristas gape at you in confusion.
National Novel Writing Month is just a few short days away and I’m really starting to stress out. I’m leaving the country for a couple of weeks in November and I have no clue how I’m going to make up the time. And I don’t know what I’m going to write about. I’ve been working on the same novel for the last three years and I want to take a break from that this year. I’ve been trying to scheme something up for months now, but I don’t really have anything in mind. I’ve found this article by the Editor’s Blog really helpful. I love their content and I can honestly say my writing has improved a lot because of them.
I’m super in love with this top from Chicwish.com but I’m really on the fence about buying it.
I came across this delicious recipe for S’Mores Waffles this week. I love the addition of coconut to the waffles, especially since I’ve been on a bit of a coconut binge this year.
Lastly, I recently tried Batiste Dry Shampoo after being recommended by a fried of mine. It’s a total game changer! I normally don’t like dry shampoo because I have very, very dark black hair and it tends to gray me out. But I really like this product. It does a really great job at making my hair look great and it smells amazing. I recommend buying it from TJ Max or Marshalls and not from Target or someplace else because it’s a dollar or two cheaper. But in my opinion it’s worth every penny.
Thanks for reading lovelies!
See you in November!
